I like this post here. Although noone forced Cotto to sign for that catch-weight, it clearly was the difference in the fight. Being weight-drained affects how well you take a punch, affects your stamina, affects your power too. I doubt Manny would have been calling him from against the ropes if he was properly hydrated. No way that happens. If you take away Floyd's reflexes which are clearly not what they use to be, inactivity, poor work rate, and over-confidant nature, you have an even fight. Actually, Cotto has the intangibles in his favor. Jab, legs, technique, and trainer. This Diaz will be the X factor I think. He has a PHD in Sports Science; that means he knows how boxing works. It's going to be fire works on Saturday!
