Droylsden’s Prince Arron has hooked up with former super featherweight Commonwealth title challenger Steven Bell in a bid to get back amongst the titles after suffering the disappointment of losing his light-middleweight crown to Blackpool’s Brian Rose last December. Arron decided to move on from Bob Shannon’s Fighting Fit camp earlier this month and will now train with Bell at Kerry Kayes’s CNP-owned, Denton-based Betta Bodies gym.

Prince Arron - Steve Bell

Saw Prince fight in Prizefighter and thought he looked good against bradley pryce,his later destruction of Sam Webb was pure class..then I went to the rose fight and he was caught with simple one shots usually as comin in or out rose had it planned perfect and the prince couldnt find an answer even with his reach/height advantage.

Can only think he has hooked up with Bell for technical improvment, clearly he has recognized he needs to be more effective agaisnt fighters that dont just step inside his reach...bell is respected in boxing and is clearly has the experiance to tutor, I am sure he is also a good conditioner and the fact that Kerry kayes as agreed to be in this set up will be very interesting.

A good mix a fighter that can clearly learn, proven after his link with Shannon.
