You're completely missing the point yo, this has nothing to do with what Floyd thinks and everything to do with the contract Manny Pacquiao has with Bob Arum. Manny will never get 50% as long as he has to answer to Arum to the tune of 27% of his purse, which has nothing whatsoever to do with Floyd. So what's Floyd supposed to do about that, give Arum 27% of his purse so he and Pacquiao can both be illiterate fools together?

The logic is simple, Mayweather has no boss therefore he keeps 100% of his profits, whereas Manny does have a boss that he pays 27% to. So no matter what happens Pacquiao will never make half.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!! i don't know why people cant understand this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Floyd since the Oscar fight (including Oscar):

        De La Hoya- 2.4 million
        Hatton- 915k
        Marquez- 1.1 million
        Mosley- 1.4 million
        Ortiz- 1.25 million

Floyd is averaging 1.41 million PPV's.

Manny since the Oscar fight (including Oscar):

        De La Hoya- 1.25 million
        Hatton- 850k
        Cotto- 1.25 million
        Clottey- 750k
        Margarito- 1.15 million
        Mosley- 1.3 million
        Marquez- 1.4 million

Manny is averaging 1.13 million PPV's.

It should be 50-50 if they want to make the fight happen but Manny was a moron to say he'd take a lesser share of the split in order to make sure it happens. So, you can go both ways to be honest in who did what. BOTH broke their word for sure. Floyd said everything was all good except for the drug testing, NOT TRUE. Manny said he would take a lower split than Floyd just to make sure the fight happens, NOT TRUE.

Wel all know that OSCAR is the cashcow or have the lion share on those fight so we can take that away those fights. If we will just take the average of where Floyd and Pac are the cashcow or have the lion share... then let me know who have the bigger average...

yeah, both are moron (Floyd and Pac) but we all agree (except for *****s) 50/50 is the most fair on both camps.

Wow, you're just as clueless as the guy who posted this.

          Look at it like this-
          Team Pac- 50%
          Team May- 50%,
However they decide to break up their share for their team is up to them and no- ones business. Period. Its fair.

Floyd is failing miserably, he thinks he is in Oscar's position where he can dictate things to Manny like how Oscar dictated to him. No matter what anyone says. Floyd is Oscars SON, till the end of time. lol

If this fight never goes thru- Floyd's revenue will decline. Mannys will also. Just for them being b!tches.

50/50 is good for ARUM not Pac the best thing for Pac to do is leave Arum and take 40 mill because he isn;t gonna make nowhere near that with Arum . Of the 50 percent Pac has to give up 27 percent to Arum right off the bat 50-27. Thats good for Arum not Pacquiao.

Floyd should offer him 40 mil and half of the gate

I agree with that if i was floyd i would do that. I have no doubt in my mind that if Arum wasn't in the picture they would have fought 2 times by now!!!!!!! Pac doesn't need Arum but i don't see him leaving Arum. Floyd should call him back up and be like look leave Arum ill give 40 mill plus half the gate if Manny wouldn't agree to that then i don't know

It seems impossible for this fight to happen on May 5th or late May. It looks like it's clear that Bob Arum wants to be the main promoter with the whole stadium deal going on for late May. Mayweather already has agreed to hire GBP to handle his next fight. Obviously Mayweather is willing to put up the money for everything. He's the only fighter with that model. That's why this fight just seems like it will never happen, unless Pac is a free agent which I guess isn't happening anytime soon.

I hope Pac's next PPV has an extremely low buy rate so that way it tells Bob Arum that we're tired of his **** and we want the PBF vs Pac already

As a boxing fan I hope both PBF and Manny next fights do horrible numbers. that is the only way for this fight to be is for the fans to force they hand. If they can still make 20+mill fighting d@mn near anybody why would either come of they high horse and make concessions to make the fight?

I am a big PBF fan but I don't care if he fights Cotto i will not buy it. If nobody close to me orders the fight I will just watch it the following week on HBO. I will not continue to spend my money on fights I don't want to see. One fan can't change the course of the fighters but if at least a couple hundred thousand take a stand both parties will feel it.
