But not agreeing to a 50/50 split will prevent this fight from ever happening.. It will always be a major roadblock...
Not agreeing to date every time will also prevent this fight from happening....It's not like this is the first time that Pac hasn't agreed on the date.

Not agreeing to date is just saying that they don't want the fight. I still fail to see how May 5th is a no go. Not agreeing to a 50/50 split is saying the same thing.

Agreed on the split. Woke up, saw he got offered $40m and turned it down. Don't think he would get more anyway but he has every right to say no. Move on.
He is not going to get a higher guarantee of even close to the guarantee of that 40mil. I think he is assuming he would make more than the 40mil after all the numbers are in IMO.

As it stands, the only share of the PPV money he gets from Bob Arum is when he asks for a cash advance. As far as making more money than Floyd in regards to PPV, he has to remember that it was because of Floyd that he was even doing those types of numbers. De La Hoya-Mayweather shattered records. De La Hoya-Pacquiao only did "ok" in comparison Floyd's numbers were better against similar opponents like De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez (except for the last one if the numbers are true), and Mosley.

This is the first time I've heard of Manny's live gate doing better than Floyd's. Mayweather-Mosley did 11.1. Manny's live gate with Shane didn't do that well and I'd have to say the way the crowd was chanting in Vegas this past November, half of the people who were there came to see Marquez spank Pacquiao out. He only made more money this go around because that fight was supposed to be the precursor to the fight we want. It seems as if that won't be the case so I fully expect his numbers to dwindle for his next PPV.

                Last time out.

                Official purses: Manny $6M (guaranteed $22M), JMM $5M, Bradley $1.025M, Casam $100K, Alvarado $75K, Prescott $35K, Cruz $35K, Burgos $22,500

Pacquiao had 22m guaranteed. With the cut of the PPV he probably made over 30m

And you forgot about Cotto and Margarito fights which did better than Floyd's fights...

Well that's not what you asked now was it? It was a none issue because Floyd accepted it. But, Pac didn't like the date changed it Floyd agreed and Pac walked away.

Out of this two fighters Pac is the only with the trend of not liking the date.
