Comments Thread For: Ronnie Shields Dissects Kermit Cintron’s Loss to Alvarez

Shields: “The game plan was to jump right on top of him, not give him a chance to have any confidence, to just take his confidence right away from him. But Kermit came out and started boxing him. As the rounds were going by, I kept telling him, I said, ‘You’re giving him every opportunity to be confident,’ and that’s exactly what happened. Kermit finally started fighting back once he got hurt, but it was too late.”

Kermit ended his career when he flew outta the ring and was never the same after the layoff. Reflex and ability to pull trigger are no longer there. WILL power also left or was never there.

Kermit should go to the UFC. That way he can't fly out of the Octagon when he is looking for a way out.

He could just tap instead, then claim that he didn't tap and cry about it
