Styles make fights. I know Mayweather is a different fighter than Marquez, but he is better in every category. Those who say Pacquiao will throw 100+ a round against Mayweather are crazy because look what happened against Marquez and Mosley when they used movement. I know that you can't compare fighter A vs B vs C, but look at what happened when Mayweather fought Marquez. The size difference alone prevented Marquez from reaching in and mounting any kind of offense. Mayweather only had to lean to get out of the way. Mayweather would not be winning fights if based on his defense alone. His offense is very underrated and he hits harder than you think. He also has the ability to adjust on the fly, so you never know if he'll be in potshot mode, peekaboo walk you down mode, or Gatti mode, where he was dancing and throwing 7 punch combos. For those who say he only throws one punch at a time, look at the 4th round vs Ortiz. He put a few together in the opening stanza of that round, showing that he still has it. If Marquez can snap Manny's head back and keep him at bay, what do you think will happen when Mayweather does so? He has a very good jab that he doesn't always use, lead rights, jumping left hooks. I would not be surprised if Mayweather came forward and walked Pacquiao down as Pacquiao cannot fight backing up. All night long Pacquiao circled the wrong way into Marquez's right hand, whereas Mayweather adjusted immediately after getting clocked by Mosley twice.
