i agree the fight wasnt that great after the 1st even before angulo was knocked down his legs were weak and punches were slow and sloppy but kirkland took advantage of it he was the better man tonight if a rematch happens i give the edge to angulo he wont make the same mistake and train better

couldn't agree more i was going for angulo but after the first round i was cheering for kirkland because of how ****** angulo was of punching himself out. If he saw he didn't go down for a second time why not stop take a breather and continue jabbing and wait till he opens up for a mean clean shot?

To be honest I saw angulo as the stronger guy with one punch knockdown power kirklands knockdown of angulo was more of fatige from angulo and the opportunities and openings he got.

In a rematch i see angulo tko kirkland he won't make the same mistake twice

Kirkland is a beast, hes not iron chinned but hes not chinny either, that counter right would have dropped most and he stayed firm while angulo ripped him afterwards.

Its not gonna be easy beating a guy with that type of power, conditioning and the will to win at any cost.

Incredible fight, James has unbelievable heart I stand corrected. I will say though when I questioned James heart on the boxing lab show it was only towards Angulo, I always felt like Angulo was the ONLY guy that could beat James at 154 and now after this I feel like nobody can especially now that he's with Anne Wolfe again which I believe made the complete difference in Kirkland

I thought Angulo would come better prepared for Kirkland, I thought he would have known to keep composed but he blew it. I questioned James heart though in connection to his endurance, I didn't think he would be able to take a greuling fight later on in the fight and would lose on points. there's a saying that goes fatigue makes cowards of everyone, I thought James would fatigue later on and lose his composure but it was the complete opposite, the very same thing except in favor of James and I'm very happy right now.

I was rooting for James though the whole fight and honestly going in I was hoping and wishing for James to win so when he started his **** I went ballistic, I freaked the **** out yo because my heart was with him but going by what I knew of the two I felt like Angulo's style was better suited to last in a war. I will no longer doubt James Kirkland in a fight, I seriously believe no one at 154 can beat him, maybe Canelo but I even doubt that

The guy came into Angulo's backyard and fought his heart out.. give the man his props. Angulo gassed out for a reason and James put the right amount of pressure on him which made it worse. I had a real gut feeling he was going to pull it off, good on him.

I know man. Fight fans are ridiculous and just believe what they want.

Kirkland vs Bundrage anyone? I know its not great but I'm trying to be realistic. Kirkland gets a shot at a belt and Bundrage gets on HBO so they both get something they want.
