    Who has Mayweather fought? A # 2 P4P LW JMM @ WW in 2009.
Who has Mayweather fought? The World WW Champion Mosley in 2010.
Who has Mayweather fought? The # 2 WW Champion Ortiz in 2011.

AGAIN, WHAT RANK WAS COTTO WHEN PAC FOUGHT HIM AT A CW???? Remember the CW Cotto fight made Pac #1 P4P....

    Just a little perspective for you;
What did Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley do in their last fight before fighting Pac?

On the flip side we can go all the back to Carlos Baldomir, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez and Shane Mosley who where ALL coming off KO's "WHEN" (there goes that "WHEN" word again) Floyd fought them."Your as good as your last fight"

IF Floyd fights Sergio, Sergio is IN FACT coming off 3 back to back KO's. Did you not know that or are you just playing dumb? You keep saying "your as good as your last fight"... well Sergio's last 3 have been won by a KO. IF Mayweather and Martinez fight, winner will EASILY be put as #1 P4P. btw, Martinez is a CAREER JMW remember Pac fought a WW cheater for Martinez' vacated JMW title. Nobody can justify Pac being #1 P4P IF Mayweather and Martinez fight each other. btw, "your as good as your last fight", Have you NOT seen Pac's last fight? I would keep the "your as good as your last fight" on check when talking about pac and his opposition. It REALLY REALLY REALLY destroys any argument you think you had.

It's actually ironic you bring up the "your as good as your last fight" to justify Pac as being #1 P4P... it's actually contradicting really. Pac can't live off the CW Cotto fight forever. Mayweather's sittin on back to back Champion victories. Pac's sitting on a CW WW fight vs Cotto who had a vacant paper title. The Clottey, Margarito and Mosley where all irrelevant "WHEN" Pac fought them... I know your thinking DAMN that WHEN word. IF only Pac would have fought these guys "WHEN" they were Champions so this WESS guy would just shut the **** up.....

I see no reason to further this conversation because its not like Mayweather and Martinez are even in talks anyway. This entire argument is all based on "IF" Mayweather.....
You talk about Sergios last 3 fights, and not his LAST fight for some reason, i wonder why that is?

Pac won 12 rounds against SSM so thats not too bad is it, and even SSM said Pac was the TRUE p4p king, so why are you using that fight to critcise Pac? Are you thinking of another fight or something, because you will have to go back a while to critcise a pac performance.

Sergios about the 10th best p4p fighter in the world going by his last fight against Barker, and thats probably a more realistic guess of where Sergio is. Beating alcoholic Pavlik and PW doesnt cut if for me really. Im assuming Barker is unranked so im being kind to Sergio. So Floyd will get the credit that is due to him. Get credit for beating the 10the best p4p fighter in the world

WHoever wins between Sergio and Floyd will be no2 in the world. Everyone knows that already, but im repeating myself for your benefit.
Having the cheek to ask what Cotto, SSM and Clottey did before Pac fought them? Pac still beat them better than anyone had before, which they acknowledged, and better than Floyd ever could.

Who you and the Pac fan boys on this site? lol Martinez is the former World JMW Champion and current MW champion that ran Pac out of the JMW division faster than you can blink. I keep saying Martienz' last three fights because he didn't win by KO if I went back any farther. Are you saying he didn't win by KO in his LAST fight?

You can say Pac beat up fighters better than Floyd all day, but that STILL does not change the fact of WHEN and not WHO... YOU seem to look over this quit easy to defend the argument you think you have.

Just because Pac beat a bunch of in house Top Rank losers back to back does not validate him being P4P #1 no matter how bad he beat them up...

Pac can not live off a 2009 CW win over Cotto forever. Also what rank was Cotto when Pac fought him at CW again to become P4P #1? Come on, you know this.........

Boxing fans will agree that If Mayweather and Martinez fight, the winner will become P4P #1.

      A little insight:
Both Mayweather and Martinez have fought MORE CURRENT Champions than Pac in the last 2-3 years and BOTH have been WORLD Champions within that time frame.

When last was Pac a world Champion? When last has Pac even fought a CURRENT (remember WHEN not who) Champion? When last has Pac fought a fighter NOT coming off a loss or draw?

Yet you are trying to justify that Pac who hasn't fought anyone relevant in years will remain #1 IF Mayweather and Martinez fight... lol Talking about a pac fan boy...

You said, "You're as good as your last fight", yet you seem to have missed Pac's last fight along with Mosley's last fight (even before fighting Pac), along with Margarito's last fight, along with Clottey's last fight...

You have no argument or answer to any of that other than comparing Pac's win to a Mayweather win or saying Pac beat "them" better than anyone else... Yeah and Berbik's victory over Ali is better than Joe Frasier's too.

Again, its not about who but WHEN and when Pac fought Clottey, Margarito and Mosley they where irrelevant.

I know I know that was harsh but sometimes you just have to break it to people and tell them they have an ugly baby. Your argument is just an ugly baby. You can tell yourself its not but it is. IF Mayweather and Martinez did fight, winner will be #1 P4P.

But like I said this is all "IF" and when it comes to Mayweather we all know what that means.

I have said that for a minute, and while most don't agree, more and more people are starting to come around to this fact.

Martinez destruction of Williams, Dzinziruk and him beating Pavlik was great, but after watching tape of both guys.....without a shadow of doubt, Manny is clearly the better fighter and would beat Martinez at a fight contested between 150-154.

Martinez only beats Manny if the fight is contest above 154.
bwahaha. what weight class is 50? pacjuiceman is totally against fighting sergio at 54 and we all know why

It's not the biggest money fight, so it doesn't make any sense. But it's a fight that Floyd sees Pacquiao doesn't want, and well-documented among hardcore fans that Arum and Pacquiao are trying their best to avoid this fight. And IMO Arum is trying his best to avoid Mayweather-Pacquiao as well. So what better than two fighters Pacquiao is avoiding, going at it? This will be a fight between the #1 and #2 P4P fighters, Mayweather vs Martinez. The M&M boys that Pacquiao the fraud P4P king, media created hypejob, wants no part of.

This fight has no way of doing 1.4 million PPV buys... Simply put, no fight has any hope of doing ridiculous numbers (good but not ridiculous) until Floyd and Pac hook up.

24/7 will sell Martinez to the casual fan while the hardcore enthusiasts already know it's a good fight. The thing about it though is that the hardcore boxing fans aren't what make these PPV numbers so outrageous...

And while this fight would definitely restore Floyd's image in the eyes of SOME of his detractors, you'll still have uninformed people that are paid to talk about other people (Michael Wilbon in particular) saying ****** **** when he doesn't have all of the details.

Quick question: Can ANYBODY name a non-Top Rank fighter that Floyd has ducked in his career, please?
