I understand he wanted revenge, get dirty too, but I'd rather get some dirt in and embarrass a dude over the fight, the KO was actually a disappointment in my book.

For those who claim to follow Floyd because of his skill and dedication to the sweet science should be disappointed in this win as well. This was not the gentleman's fight, that was a move that belongs in MMA or WWE.
        Pretty accurate good assessment there.

You can't fault floyd for chosing how he wanted to deal with the intentional headbutt. When you cross the line there is no more line. Floyd retaliated within the rules. How can you fault that?

I'm not a fan of Floyd but I talk boxing with a few big Floyd fans where I work.

And a lot of them were disgusted with Mayweather's antics on Saturday.

He has lost a lot of fan with that those cheap shots and how he talked to Merchant, and he didn't have a lot of fans in the first place.

              Ortiz foul = 1 point deduction...justice served.

              Floyd's actions = 2 wrongs don't make a right and underhanded

And now with his new in your face style of fighting, I believe he would have KO'd Ortiz. He looked quicker, faster, and for some reason, bigger than Ortiz. The society we live in is just so ****ed up! Once a guy gets that "Bad Boy" image, it just sticks forever no matter what.Hate Floyd because of his childess demeanor at times. Or hate him for his boasting about his money and the flashy lifestyle. But to say he is a coward or a dirty fighter is blatantly wrong. Ortiz was trying to headbutt this man from the first bell on. The last headbutt was blatant and intentionally meant to hurt Floyd. So once Ortiz made it a dirty fight, then gets KO'd from what is suppose to be dirty actions,Floyd's the one that's wrong??? Put the shoe on the other foot. What if Floyd had headbutted Ortiz in the same manner and then got Ko'd in the same manner. These ignorant haters would have applauded it and said that's what he deserves. This goes beyond boxing. This is just staight hatred for Floyd and no matter what this man does, these haters will have a problem with it.Floyd won the fight fair and square and once again proved he's the best fighter in the world whether you like it or not. And truth be told, everyone watching that fight can see that Floyd would destroy Manny Pacquiao with his new style of fighting. But you have to be a true fan and student of the sport to see that. Floyd is a disrespectful flamboyant *******! But what is real is real. The man could possibly be the best technical fighter ever!!!
Your right! your notta big fa a Floyd!! YOur a HUGE FLOYD fan!!! I despise MAYW and cant stand his ass.. BUT Ortiz shouldnt have been in the same ring w Mayw.. I didnt buy this fight cuz i didnt believe there was going to be a good fight!! Glad i didnt waste my money.. Regardless of the 4th, whick Ortiz was in the wrong. Mayw did NOTHING WRONG !!! Get over it.... He Woulda shut Ortiz Out anyways!!!! As far as the Above Statement!!! Complete Blind Floyd lovin BS!! Floyd WONT AND WOULDNT fight Pac Toe to Toe!!! He'll back Pedal and Pot shot all night.. Ortiz gave Mayw more grief than i figured he would, I see Pacs footspeed and handspeed and angles. Really putting Mayw at risk.. Floyd doesnt have the kinda power to slow Pacs assault down.. EVEN with Ortiz hands down to his sides at ease!! Mayw couldnt KO Ortiz, Yes it hurt him and he was counted out!! But when you hit a defensless man like you do the heavybag, and your on Mayws level.. It shoulda out him to sleep INSTANTLY!! bottom line... Mayw Doesnt fight Pacq, do to the Danger involved!! BUT WHAT FLOYD DID TO ORTIZ WAS PERFECTLY FINE. IT WAS ORTIZ FAULT FOR THE BUTT,THE POINT DEDUCT. THE NEED TO APOLOGIZE, AND HIS OWN FAULT FOR HIS LACK OF ALERTNESS!

this is the right answer, floyd did not do anything outside his character to do...

although I agree that although legal it was unsportman cheapshot AND fault also goes to ortiz as when he was punch he did not do anything to protect himself...

for hater's add this to hate more on floyd lolz

I don't really blame him, he was pissed, Ortiz got dirty, I could understand the anger, however, that doesn't mean what he did wasn't cheap and IMO, knocking him out like that lessened the value of the win. It's like tripping a ****** during a foot-race because he **** himself.
