Sergio wants a big pay day against Pac or May, and I can completely understand that..but at the end of the day it's just not going to happen. He is simply too damn big and doesn't have enough drawing power to make it worth it for either Pac or Floyd. Frankly I think his best bet would be to hope that Froch beats Ward and then volunteer to move up in weight and go to England for a respectable payday against Froch in a fight that he would have an extremely good shot at winning.

Martinez calls out Mayweather (again?)

Floyd would never risk his zero against a guy like Martinez. Thats why he chose a smaller man who got knocked out at light welter as his next opponent. Likewise Pac is content fighting old men and leftovers. Its been years since I was truely impressed by him and hadnt expected the result all along.
Martinez sooner or later needs to accept these guys wont go near but he isnt entitled to call them out publicly. Once the boxing fans see they have no interest he needs to move on and look at the super middles if he wants super fights.

Martinez is the man to beat if no May/Pac megafight can be made.
If either one of them could beat Martinez, it would be a big **** you to the other. & if one of them were to lose to Martinez, it would be an even bigger **** you, cause now the man to beat would, without a doubt, be Martinez.Last edited by AllEyesOpen; 08-30-2011, 10:19 AM.

Martinez reminds me of Mosley.
I remember Mosley calling out Floyd and Manny every chance he got.
When he finally got what he asked for, and got in the ring with them,
he ran like a B-tch.

They are considered the 2 best fighters in the sport. Martinez is only going after the best. What the fuuck is the problem?
Its usually the smaller man who should be challenging the big man as the obvious hurdle in the fight is the smaller man finding a way to beat the larger man.
Its a bit disgraceful.
Sergio hasn't done much in his entire padded career outside of Pavlik and Williams II. So now he's trying to cash out with a mega fight he hasn't earned.
I don't blame him for trying, but I'm in no way inclined to say that he deserves a mega fight ... especially one where he's calling out men two divisions lower than wear he's currently campaigning.

I agree with Maravilla and Mayweather/Martinez is the best fight that could be made in boxing.
Sergio #1 p4p vs Mayweather #2 p4p (if he beats Ortiz).

I'll be consistent in my thought on this one.
I thought martinez should move up to fight Pavlik, and i think Floyd should move up to fight martinez.
People act like Martinez should call out bigger guys like the 168's, but they seem to ignore the fact that he already moved up to fight the lineal champ as a very undersized middleweight.
Mayweather vs. Martinez is an awesome fight. To be honest, so is pac vs Martinez.
