Michael Irvin is a traitor!
According to promoter Bob Arum, the last obstacles to a Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather fight have been cleared, and there’s a possibility of the two agreeing to meet in the ring in May of 2012. That’s assuming, of course, both win their upcoming fights with Juan Manuel Marquez in November and Victor Ortiz in September, respectively. Arum is saying that Pacquiao has already agreed to the Olympic style drug testing to which Mayweather has been insisting, and a 50-50 purse split. Is Arum telling the truth? The answer is unclear. But one thing is certain: Michael Irvin wants to see the two fight.
Irvin: "I like both of them but I’m telling you right now, I wish Mayweather would go ahead and fight the guy. It makes brothers look bad with all of this running."
