    WBA Interim Super Lightweight World Champion Marcos "Chino" Maidana meets WBA/WBO Interim Lightweight World Champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero on Saturday, August 27 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif for Maidana's title. The explosive showdown between Maidana and Guerrero will headline the HBO Boxing After Dark broadcast and promises to be a classic battle. The two fighters went face to face at a press conference in San Jose, California.

        Wow and I thought Guerrero would be a lot taller than Maidana, he's actually way smaller.. now I'm not so sure Guerrero is gonna be able to keep Maidana at bay for 12 rds.. G man may have bit off a little more than he can chew for his first fight at 140 plus Guerrero is known to have a not so great chin... I'll take the heavy handed Maidana by KO! Guerrero's a good fighter but I'd put him a level below Khan(less power, smaller, slower) who Maidana just about KO'ed...

            Marcos Maidana looks like Tony Montana. This man always comes to fight. How can you not love this guy?

            Really hoping we see Maidana/Matthysse soon.

                    Maidana is a hard, hard man that has gone up the oldschool way!!! He's got terrible technique but makes up for it with gritt, hard work, dedication, and power!!
