How would you rate Mayweathers chin?

I wanna know because maybe just maybe vic van somehow get through that defence and deliver some blows, scoring a KO? i know its a long shot but who knwz....BTW before patards enter and say he got wobbled by shane blah blah blah..

It's not so much his "chin", per se, but it's how composed mayweather is when his chin does get tested. he knows exactly what to do and how to do it. you see how he clinched up mosley? he knew exactly how to clinch up over his right arm and walk him back.

id say his actual chin is like a 7-8, still damn good. pac is about a 7-8 too - but he also knows how to absorb shots better these days too with his shell defense.

i see that straight right landing flush all night for mayweather. maidana couldn't miss with it; berto had great success with it. floyd can't hit as hard as these two guys, but his accuracy will make them sting plenty enough to make victor think twice about coming in. i see floyd possibly stopping ortiz late. once ortiz is nervous about coming in, floyd will start walking him down and being offensive. and victor will be clueless on how to handle pressure from floyd.

but this is going to be a very hard fight for floyd. ortiz has a straight left that could find home on mayweather. it's gonig to come down to the straight left/straight right dynamic of southpaw/orthodox. i think floyd wins the battle.

Wow, u hate the guy so much that u say the most irrational stuff and hide it under the guise of analysis? Mayweathers chin is much betted than either zabs or cottos. If u don't like the guy, stay away from being an expert on him.

Mayweather is testing his body against Ortiz (pause). If he feels he decisively beat Ortiz (assuming he wins) then he'll probably jump on the decision to fight Pacquiao soon after. Should Pacquiao win or lose against JMM shouldn't be much of an issue though.

So far in the WW class, Pacquiao's chin has been tested, it's his body that still seems vulnerable. People would bring up the Cotto fight but a lot of those shots were glancing or deflected off his elbows. A shot to point out would obviously be the one Margarito gave him during their fight.

Mayweather on the other hand took Mosley's nuke, the same power used against Margarito, who's known to have an unreal chin as well. I haven't seen Mayweather take much damage from many fighters, as most of you would notice his face is nearly the same coming out the fight as he came in.

id say hes got a solid jaw, but ortiz can really **** and knocked down every opponent hes ever faced...so who knows? will mayweather get knocked down for the first (2nd?) time?
