Pacquiao has taken a lot of beatings in most of his fights. You don't have to be a Mayweather to do that. A lot of times Pac even shows you the way. Question is would Mayweather give Pac beatings without being countered with series of combinations and not lose balance? So no. I don't think Mayweather would take risks in throwing a lot of punches in this fight. I'd say this fight would be similar to the Mosley fight. Mayweather is not Mosley, I know, but Mosley was expected to walk through Pac's punches and slug it out there. It didn't happen. Once Mosley tasted Pac's power, he became a defensive shell and can't even muster the courage to punch when Pac wants him to. Mosley was not even expected to run for his life.

WAR????haha this is what casual fans think the 2 best fighter's in the game it's gotta be a fight with non stop knockdowns and a brutal ko.The truth is this will be a pretty tame affair because of the 2 styles involved and the what's at stake factor neither will take risk's until they absolutely have too.It will be interesting just because of the outcome but it will be no war maybe a decent scrap but that's all

"Floyd's not going to run at all"---Floyd has been running since late 2009, why would he suddenly stop?

Besides, Floyd doesn't have Pacquiao's power and Pacquiao is just as quick--floyd will never get in the ring.

being a brawler against floyd might be best for pac.

floyd is much more technically sound. especially on defense.

This fight will not be a brawl. Please tell me the last time you saw Floyd Mayweather in a brawl? That's not his game and if he fights Pac that's not how it well go down. If they brawl Mayweather will lose. Mayweather controls tempo and range throwing accurate punches and limiting his opponents punch output with feints, jabs to the body, counter punching etc. If Pac could fight inside AT ALL I think this fight would be 50/50, but the kind of pressure that Pac applies to opponents is not the type of pressure that bothers Mayweather. Mayweather will utilize the clinch A LOT in this fight and probably hit Manny with 15-20 check hooks while coming out of the clinch. I would also bet Floyd lands 30-40 lead right hands and a fair amount of lead left hooks as well. This fight is all about pace, if they fight at Floyd's pace he will win, if they fight at Manny's pace he will win. it's just hard to envision Floyd getting into a fire right with Manny, he's too smart and too experienced, I think he will control the pace and make it a boxing match, and if you think Manny outboxes May over 12 rounds then you're just smoking something.

Same here. In few moments of the fight, Floyd had no problem using his footwork. I think the punches that he took weakened his legs a little, and yes he may not be able to move as great as he used to, but only a fool would blindly say he doesn't has good footwork.
