I dont agree either Torres obvioulsy is a big puncher and Cotto just looked flat tonight but he still rallied to get a ko. In Cotto's last fight he showed he has some very good boxing skills. If Cotto fought Gatti he would win, but Mayweather is far to fast and slick for Cotto.

Cotto is not a bum by any means, BUT I dont see him lasting many rounds against Mayweather, Hatton, or Tzsyu. Mayweather would pick him apart, Torres was winning the inside battle against Cotto, what do you think Hatton would do to him on the inside, and Tzsyu's counter right will end Cotto's night early.

Cotto is a good guy and a very fun fighter to watch, but his parents picked a bad time to birth him into this era in the 135-147 division.

Perhaps Cotto's chin is not stellar, like that of Hopkins, but he has the skills to make up for it. Some here forget that when he boxes, he dominates his opponents. It's also interesting that some mention that Hatton is such a great inside fighter that would punish Cotto, when Hatton's advantage is fighting in England where they let him get away with his dirty boxing(holding and hitting with rabbit punches behind the head and kidneys).

cotto showed alot of heart and when he boxes hes great to watch it just looks like when he stands and trades, he leaves his chin open, gets caught and gets wobbled, he was very lucky to get out of the second round, hes not been impressive for his last few fights imo, i think hatton, PBF would beat him, he needs to move to 147 tho i reckon making weight is killing him
