First to the thread topic: Do you even mean the "147"lbers Pacquiao weight drained(Cotto,ODLH)?

Secondly, to the poll: To say that Marquez is the LEAST legitimate option is somewhat demented. Marquez is the only guy in recent memory to give Pac a real fight. Marquez, with a proper diet could gain a few lbs. Pac would be the bigger man on fight night but not by much at all. People somehow point to the Marquez's loss to FMJ and say "Marquez is horrible above 140, did you see what Mayweather did to him?" That's honestly the dumbest **** I've ever heard. How do you compare the elite orthodox boxing ability of Mayweather to Pacquiao's awkward, fast, southpaw style? At any rate, I'm very, very sure Arum can drum up a much less of an appealing fight to see.

So if not Marquez, who? Bradley? Khan can't happen...Zab Judah?...no thanks...Pac already said he wants nothing of Maravilla, and I really don't blame him. Aside from Floyd and JMM who does Pac fight next?

His awesome boxing skills will be thoroughly ineffective at the higher weight class. Pacquiao's now fighting at a very comfortable weight but Marquez will again be out of his comfort zone weight-wise, just like when he fought Mayweather. I'll say it again, Marquez is the least legitimate opponent to date for Pacquiao at above 140.

People are only accepting this fight because of their history together and the fact they're clamoring for a trilogy, but the reality is Pacquiao vs Marquez will be a complete mismatch this time around mainly because of the weight issue.
Pac will put JMM on his @$$ every round of this fight....

You question my credibility but you show your own lack of boxing knowledge if you think I used 5 different boxers as examples and then you describe it as "triangle" theory.. Triangle theory is when both fighters have an opponent in common and then you use that common opponent as a comparison. E.g. Pac beat Hatton quicker than Floyd so Pac must beat Floyd <<< THATS triangle theory. You're lucky I don't charge you for this lesson.

When I say every 147 fighter Pac fought would beat Marquez, I'm demonstrating that Marquez is not as effective above 140. People like you are overlooking the weight issue and focusing on nostalgia.

What you're forgetting is that Mayweather wasn't even at his best in the Marquez fight, he'd been retired for approx 2 years and that was his first comeback fight. Mayweather himself said he was disappointed with his performance even though he pretty much shut out Marquez. What do you think a legit elite 147lber like Pacquiao will do to him, someone who remained constantly active..

I just can't imagine him being competitive against Pac north of 135. I hope I'm wrong because that's pretty much who Pac will be fighting. Just another opponent. Why not face Bradley or Ortiz? That's right, they aren't old or tailor made for Pac.
Marquez' efficacy will be greatly reduced above 135 IMO..

How so? Manny landed almost 20 shots a round, dropped Shane, beat him up more than Money and the whole time Shane landed like 5 meaningless punches a round. I don't see anything negative about Pacs performance at all. In fact, if he can hurt Shane so badly at this weight, how do you think his punches will effect Marquez who gets dropped @ 130 and 135? C'mon man.
