Floyd is a lot easier to negotiate with than Manny...he doesn't care what you weigh in the ring.
Ah yeah Floyd doesn't care that his bloated Featherweight opponent came in at exactly 144lbs the CONTRACTED weight, while he the Great Floyd jr. came in at 2 pounds over!!!

Backward beliefs and superstitions are not legitimate reasons, certainly not compared to the desire to know an athlete IS clean (at least to the best standard).

It is not that simple though not after it got messed up the first go around, Floyd and his people certainly have a lot of blame in that because they made this mess public, which made this more than just business. IF both sides can get back to business and beyond the blame games which hasn't happened yet from either side then we will likely see a fight because the business reasons for the fight still exist, that is a big IF though because it is much easier said than done.

the bold is the ONLY thing you said that i disagree with.

even in america, superstitious belief abound among athletes, whether they be white, or african american, or mexican american.

don't tell me you haven't heard of superstitious athletes? and Pac has been documented to be extremely superstitious.

and don't give me that crap about the importance of these so-called blood tests. the very same Golden boy who demanded these tests on Pac REFUSED to have one of their fighters (who already had a history of cheating) to take a blood test previously.

In fact, Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer's exact words were, "We are not going to do other tests than the Nevada commission requires. The fact is Shane is not a cheater and he does not need to be treated like one."

I don't consider those legitimate, for him to not want to or not like it yea they are legitimate. To break up a huge fight over that is to me not legitimate.

I know athletes are a superstitious lot but in this day and age when it comes to drug testing I can't listen that noise.

Now a side will do what is best for them at a given time, if Floyd feels the need for the test GBP will stand by him if Shane Mosley doesn't want extra testing against Judah GBP will squash that. I don't find it wrong for a guy to ask for more testing if a guy feels that way (right or wrong) he should ask and press for it.

I still can't believe a huge fight got killed for that reason unless something is up, that just doesn't pass the reason test otherwise. It was never the accusations with me it was how everything went down. Also this mess could be cleaned up just by doing something close in testing for these last couple fight and they let this hang out there.

I would much rather this not be around, especially if it is all BS I just want to know it is in fact BS.

I already said refusal to comply is evidence, if your job asks you to take a drug test and you refuse they consider you guilty. If it was not for how Manny acted this would not be a big deal to me.

Manny made this mess himself, so blame the correct person.
If you are offered a job but didn't want to comply, maybe there's better job somewhere, but if you complied afterwards, after having a good thought, the company should hire you, or they just don't want you in their company...

indeed it is all BS, especially with the way Golden Boy keeps changing their stance to fit their agenda.

the simple fact is that in spite of all his skills and the fact that he may very well be one of the best or maybe even the best defensive fighter out there, floyd simply doesn't want to fight Pac.

the only issue pac had were the blood tests. blood tests which were in fact:

                  1. rejected by golden boy themselves.
                  2. IS medically unsafe if taken so close to the fight.
                  3. HAS a questionable track record. (they caught what, 3 cheaters out of the HUNDREDS they've been testing all these years!?!?)
                  4. it tests for HGH, the benefits of which for boxers is HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE.

Depends on if one needs the job or not, if I apply for a job I know I am going to have to jump through whatever hoops they ask or they will find another schmuck.

I know they would not be trying to hear excuses on why I didn't want to give them blood and saying no for whatever reason is the wrong answer. You can say that is not proof OK but it is certainly evidence, if I come back with a law suit against them saying they discriminated against me they would say he didn't take the drug test we therefore believed him to be on drugs which is why we didn't hire him.
