I just re-watched the last round of the fight on a HD video (I had originally watched the fight on an internet ****** of mediocre quality).

It appeared to me Khan deliberately used his head on McCloskey causing the cut that stopped the fight.

What do you think?

It was a clearly unintentional headbutt. Anybody who has seen a decent amount of boxing - and has the mental capacity to understand what they're seeing - is aware of that.

Why would he risk himself with a deliberate headbutt?

Some people get cuts so bad, they reopen easily in the future....i very much doubt it was deliberate....
