Another thing to take into consideration is that those watching the fight on tv have a clearer view of the action because the camera's always gives us the best angle.
Also half the time watch the fights, most of us are drunk. Before I went to sleep last night I watched the 1st 6 rounds of the fight sober, Pacman didn't dominate like I 1st thought. (Though he was slightly ahead).
I know because its the Pacman, people's views are not clear and the HBO team made it sound like Bradley was dying in there... but I've watched the fight with foreign commentary (I feel this is the best way cos you can still here the punches but don't get drawn into the hype) and I must say, the rounds were close. Bradley was landing some good jabs and body shots and would stand and trade when Pacman decided to fight.
Pac was just throwing wild shots and landing 1 in 10 when he would do a flurry.
A B+ level fighter with 2 broken feet managed to Make the so-called p4p king look like an absolute amateur when he decided to box in the later half of the fight as opposed to the mindless slugging that he opted for in the 1st half as well as FORCED Pacquiao to cut his punch output by about 200 punches ( while operating on 2 broken feet!). Now imagine if Bradley had full utilization of both feet for a full 12 rounds and applied his strategy for the later half of the fight from the onset.....we're talking a WIDE Bradley UD victory here. FACTOID.
You're talking about one half of the fight. What about the other half.
other half? I gave Bradley rounds 1,2, 10 and 12 being very generous. And rounds 2 and 12 were close. I dont know how you saw the last rounds but to me it looked like Pacquiao didnt throw a lot of leather anymore. it didnt look to me like Bradley was doing something special, it just looked like Pacquiao wasnt doing anything anymore.
