    no way the ginger beats cotto...

    cotto is too fast, his jab is too good, and cotto actually can box when he wants to.

    the ginger isn't relentless like marg, so cotto won't take a knee or get stopped by the ginger kid. the ginger fights at too slow a pace

      Cotto is a vet and I wouldn't say that Canelo beats him. I do think he has the tools to beat him though and the style.

      It would be fun to watch but Canleo needs time, these types of threads proclaiming Canelo the greatest and then garbage are ****** like the people that make them.

          no defense. he's not relentless like margarito. he fights at a slow pace. he likes to fight from distance instead of right in your face.

                He's also strong, has a great body attack, punches in combinations and can force Cotto going backwards which we know is his weakness.

                He doesn't beat Cotto now but Cotto doesn't want to see this kid 2 years down the line, I can guarantee that.

                    Yeah. Thought so. The Rican, Cotto gives angles and hits Canelo 3 times up and down for every time Canelo jabs once...Alvarez is just not that good. Sorry.

                      Canelo didn't impress me much in his fight against Hatton. He needs to improve his defense. Canelo will continue to improve but I don't think he can beat Cotto in two years. Unless Cotto is shot and at a journeyman level in two years.
