Pavlik getting a tuneup fight against a soft touch would be good for HBO Boxing After Dark.

For the undercard of a PPV fight I would prefer to see him against a live body. If he's not ready for that then I don't want to see him taking up air time against a tomato can.

I'd rather HBO spend money on up and comers and competitive fights than Kelly Pavlik honestly unless he's against someone competitive.

Then that's your opinion. I think having Pavlik vs anyone on the under card actually helps the production value of the PPV. Mainly because of who he is and what he brings to the table. You aren't going to get a dull fight with him, which is what most people like to see (whether it's competitive or not).

If I shell out the money for a PPV then I want to see good, competitive fights. Parading Pavlik out there just because he has a big name doesn't pump me up.

Kelly Pavlik is done and Jack leow is a terrible trainer maybe if he got a better trainer to improve his skills and boxing fundamentals then maybe he can get back on track

Kelly isn't making noise in any division anymore, he will have a tuneup or two just like last time, fight a good fighter and lose, go away, come back and fight a tuneup, then lose to a good fighter again.
