In a starting contest of a nice night of boxing at Olympia Hall in Liverpool, England, light welterweight Steve Williams (10-1, 4 KOs) came back to win column with an impressive second-round stoppage of feather-fisted Scottsman Charlie Paul King (17-3, no KOs). After an even first round, Williams threw several nice combinations in the second before putting King on a ***** street with a smashing right hook. bit of a premature stoppage i thought that being said he wouldn't have lasted much longer still
you have to let him at least take two or three more punches before jumping in if you're the ref
he got rocked it happens he may have been able to whether the storm or williams may have gone for him and punched himself out
don't think the outcome would have been any different but the ref was abit too quick in my view
