    Speaking of the 140lb division, what happened to Urango? Is he ever fighting again? I know Ricardo Torres isn't a 140lb fighter anymore, but what happened to him? Has he even fought since losing to Holt?

    Urango's promoter told me, literally, he bought a pig farm in his home country and has not heard from him in forever and can't reach him. Torres retired.


    Sounds like a retired fighter to me.

    Alexander's uppercut may have ended him.

      Yep.

      Before the Alexander fight Urango seemed to be hitting the the late prime of his career.

      Urango-Maidana would have been sick.

      I wish him the best in retirement.

          I'm glad he got out at the right time.

          More fighters should call it quits when they start slippin.

            I liked Urango. If he feels that his boxing career is done, I wish him the best. I just hope he doesn't decide to return after a really long lay off.

              Based on styles i actually think a vintage Urango would make an even fight with Madaina or Ortiz. But the boxers like Bradley, Alexander and Kahn would always be out of the question, that was his kryptonite. Because of the way he was knocked out in his last fight and since hes been out so long, he may be just about done. He was one of my favorites.

                  I think it was that Bailey fight that started his decline. Urango was a true warrior though.
