What do these guys have to do to be considered the greatest?

I'm very aware that it is all opinion. Everyone is entitled to theirs. I dont have any underlying agenda. I'd just like to know what you guys' criteria is for choosing the G.O.A.T. Specifically when it comes to Mayweather and Manny, what would be the ideal path for each to take to be without question the best ever. What fights should they take? Do they have to KO everyone? How many fights? Do they have to go up two weight divisions?

Feel free to pick your favorite and diss the other guy. Just give me a map that would lead your favorite fighter to the top all time. Feel free to map out both. You are the manager, Enlighten me and your peers.

There will always be questions while you are fighting. People will always question your last performance. When the curtain is drawn on your career people look back on your career and determine what had made you great.

Neither fighter has any realistic chance of being the GOAT. They would both have to do such ridiculous and near impossible things that you can't seriously consider it.

The way the sport is run these days, no one has a real shot at being the GOAT.

I don't think any active fighter can actually be the greatest of all time. For example,Robinson won over 100 fights before he lost 1.Fighters back then fought more than 15 rounds, with same day weight ins.their life was harder & they didn't make as much.Floyd & Manny in particular are too spoiled & pampered to raise to the level of the old school fighters. The greatest of the current active fighters in my opinion is Bernard Hopkins,he's a true throwback as far as skill, tactics & longevity go.

I say you gotta beat atleast 10 black dudes, 5 mexicans, 5 puerto ricans, 5 eastern europeans, 2 canadians, 2 white guys (australian/u.s./uk), 2 south americans (argentina/brazil/etc...), 2 central americans, 2 fighters from the gulf (haiti/dominican republic/cuba), 1 middle east boxer, 1 african (nigeria, congo, south africa, etc...) boxer and 2 asians or pacific islanders.

I kinda figured I would hear a bunch of bull**** answers. If the fact is no one can ever be the best then why would we even discuss all time P4P ever. Thats the theory "older = greater". Somebody please put your neck on the line. If you are in total control, any course of events you choose then be creative, hell. That was the whole point. Oh well.

Are you saying you want to hear a contrived fairy tale rather than the reality of an honest answer?

We discuss the p4p all time best ever because there are fighters who deserve to be mentioned in the top 50, top 40, top 30, but you wanted to know if anyone fighting today can be the best ever, and the reality is that because of the way the sport operates there is little to no chance that any fighter will do what would have to be done to crack the top 5 ever, let alone be the best.

Lik Jab said, do you want us to lie and say something ****** like "Mayweather is the GOAT if he beats Pacquiao and Martinez" or "Pacquiao is the best if he beats Mayweather and Paul Williams"?
