It doesnt even have to be Pac. If one of the Klits gets into the top 6, and wins, its still good for boxing..

There is a two-part voting process to find the winners of the Laureus World Sports Awards. Firstly, a Selection Panel of the world’s leading sports editors, writers and broadcasters votes to create a shortlist of six nominations in various categories including Laureus World Sportsman of the Year, Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year, Laureus World Team of the Year, Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year and Laureus World Comeback of the Year. Then the members of the Laureus World Sports Academy vote by secret ballot to select the Award winners.

Indeed! I'm saying this in advance, but I hope people here would stop the hate for at least this thread and just appreciate how this will benefit the sport of boxing. Good luck to all nominees!

The list of nominations has been trimmed down to 7, and Pac is included..But he is up against top competition:

Football star Lionel Messi, Spanish World Cup winner Andres Iniesta, Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal, Germany’s Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel and LA Lakers’ Kobe Bryant

I doubt Pac beats Nadal and Bryant..Its a toss up between those two..
