In 2002 Ring ****zine ratings. Manny Pacquiao was rated the second best Super Bantamweight(122lb) in the world under ring champion Paulie Ayala.
Oscar De La Hoya was rated the best Jr Middleweight in the world, & in the Welterweight rankings Antonio Margarito was rated 3rd best in the world.
Who'd of ever thought back then that Pacquiao would evetually go up and TKO Oscar and completey dominate Tony? You would of been laughed at.
I bet Hoya or Tony never thought that the Super Bantamweight would do that to them. At that time nither probaly wound't of even been allowed to spar Pacquiao
Can you imagine say curent #2 Super Bantamweight Nobuo Nashiro going up one day to defeat WBA 154lb champion Miguel Cotto & #3 Welterweight Andre Berto?
Amazing & Funny...
