All of you saying JMM needs to prove himself at welter before getting Pac. JMM's lone fight at welter is a loss to Mayweather. Margarito's lone significant fight at 154 was a loss to Daniel Santos. Even though the Pacwh*re nation feels Money is garbage, a coward, etc, etc, etc, I think they would agree that he's a little bit better than Santos. So exactly how was Margarito more proven at 154 than JMM is at welter?

The lightweight champ and the Jr. middleweight champ...doesn't sound right. Marquez need to proof that he can hang at welter first.

Marquez proved his worth by taking Pac to the brink both times.
Arum is doing to Marquez what Kahn is doing to Prescott. "Why
fight him,when he might lose now?" If that is the case,then it
should be no problem in stepping in and backing it up. Marquez
has to understand if he wants to get another Pac fight,he is
going to have toplay by Arum's rules, not even Pac's because
Arum has Manny's cojones in his hands. Arum tried to do the
same thing to Floyd and Oscar's career.

Sounds like a great idea to me, if we gotta sit through pac mosley at least we'll have something to look forward to. I still think jmm would get slaughtered, but hey, **** it. If he can't get passed berto it would be clear as day he don't belong in the ring with pac anywhere above 135 so that will be that.
If he does beat berto that would seal the deal, he can hang with the big boys so let him take his shot. If he wants it let him get it.

It would be a good test for berto to, dude still hasn't beaten anyone worth a damn. Build up his name a lil and let him earn his, sounds good to me. Winner face pac, looser hit the bricks. Let's make this **** happen!

Arum is an idiot and so is Pacquiao for following him:

1) Pacquiao did not even win his welterweight title at 147 lbs so why make Marquez come up all the way.
2) He came in at 144 lbs for his "super welterweight" championship after eating all those high calorie protein shakes.
3) Both his fitness conditioning coach and trainer have said he is " a natural junior welterweight".
4) If Arum was willing to talk **** about Mosley after his last two fights, saying how he sucks and he's not a quality opponent than he knows himself that this is a joke of a fight. If JMM tomorrow severs ties with GBP and tells them all to fck off.....maybe Arum will take back what he said, no?
5) Arum is nearing the end of his career as being a promoter and also because Pacquiao's is nearing the end as well so the only thing he cares about (more than the usual promoter) is money.

it kinda makes sense in a crazy way in that berto needs a name on his resume, marquez would give him that, and marquez can prove he's capable at 147 on the flipside.

Mosley couldn't get past Mora and Margarito couldn't get past Mosley yet they got fights with Pacquiao....seriously don't even try to defend this fight, just stfu and wait for May 7th, it's not even worth arguing about.

Its amazing to me how JMM is an ATG at feather and lightweight, but he becomes a bum at welterweight. The JMM doesn't carry the weight well was simply an excuse the Pacwh*res put out there to **** on the fact that Mayweather treated a cat that has beaten Pac's ass twice like a amateur, and not a very good one at that. the pac-jmm fights was 115-20lbs ago. pac had moved up and able to hold his own against bigger guys. you think jmm would be able to hang w/ cotto or margarito? sure i'd like the jmm fight too, but i can see the haters say that pac just beat up an old bloated LW if the fight is at 147.

This is ******!! PAcquiao is scared to fight Berto but his promoter is asking JM Marquez to fight Berto. Its such a cowardly act by Arum and Pacquiao . JM Marquez should move up in challenege Berto at a catch weight of 140. Berto is a big and fast 147 fighter thats why Pacquaio is scared of him. at 140 Marquez will beat Berto!!
