I agree with the ts. I believe if floyd fights in front of him floyd will get demolished. Mayweather has to utilize the ring and use his legs for whole 12. It will be an ugly fight but hey a win is a win. Plus Pac doesnt cut the ring off well and I can see him getting reckless when his opponent doesnt stand in front of him.

pac will close the distance and use his movement to land punches all night long

a fighter that attacks pac so he can counter him with his angle and combo punches and then moving out of the way

or

a fighter that stays back and tries to out box pac, thus allowing pac to pressure him and come in from all angles to land his angle and combo punches?

Manny will desperately try to cut off the ring and to attempt to catch floyd and he will be countered and dissected. Floyd has great foot work that people seem to forget. Check the Chico fight. Yes May till this day can still move on his toes, he just hasn't had to. Manny can be hurt too especially with counter punches which he is always open for due to his offensive mentality. I agree 50/50. IF mayweather moves/boxes ala leonard (they have two different styles,) yes it would turn out like leonard-duran 2 maybe even worse (duran's boxing is/ was underrated.) At this point in floyds career (he is no longer in his prime) he has started to slow down on his feet, which is why pacquiao has more of a chance to land his shots. However, consider pacs last couple opponents besides marquez and morales and you have guys who are tailor made for pacquiao's style. I see this turning out like a ugly fight just like the hatton fight. mayweather ud-12.

Does mayweather throw enough to bother pac and worry him enough to change his style?

I felt the pac that fought cotto beats the mayweather that beat oscar imo

oscar lacked the combination and angle skills as well as the speed to pull through to the win, manny is a couple of steps above the oscar of that night i feel

When has Mayweather done this against southpaws? If they faught, Mayweather would attempt to walk him down.

Keep in mind the size of those guys and their nature in comparison to Manny.

No reason to even need tricks as it is simple geometry, make manny pay for every inch of real estate when he comes in range.

Those other southpaws were Floyd's size so that wasn't the best option, but if you can big man someone why mess around and Floyd knows precisely how to fight tall.

Floyd is not that simplistic so that he has to fight that way versus all south paws, I think that is a mistake since if that is the obvious conclusion why fight in the way your opponent expects.
