Are you kidding? "Pac is slick" is actually winning the poll, wow.

Pacquiao is not slick. He's fast, he's an athlete, he's explosive but he sure as hell ain't slick. Due to these physical attributes, he may appear to be slick, but he's just not.

Slick would be Willie Pep, Pernell Whitaker, Floyd Mayweather, Sergio Martinez, shit even Louis Collazo is slicker than Pacquiao.

Being slick isn't only about defense, slick is also how you set your opponents up. In that sense Pacquiao's slick.

Margarito's slow ass telegraphing punches were landing on him. Even Margs slow ass jab.

Pac is NOT slick at all. Hes not hard to hit.
wait so since he got hit by marg he's not slick anymore? LOL.. so u have to go all 12 rounds and not get hit at all to be slick?

pac can be slick when he wants too. but i dont think he likes to fight that kinda style, he's a brawler, a guy with big BALLS and he's not even black hahaha!

Pac can be slick, but he gets hit way too much to be called slick.

Look at the way Ali and Leonard boxed and moved. Pac fights fire with fire and covers up on the inside.
He can move brilliantly away from the ropes, but he still gets hit too much to be slick. IMO.

Pac is harder to hit than his opponents in general. Sometimes in the past he went looking for the kayo so might have taken a few more than he should of. But who can blame him when he took JMM down 3 times ina round?

Margartio hit Pac, but Marge ate more punches. So Pac is slicker than Marge thats for sure. Im assuming thats what slick means.
I don't know. I'd blame him for not being more slick if he knocks a guy down 3 times in the 1st round, doesn't close the show, and then proceeds to lose almost every single round until he ends up with a draw instead of a win.

Pac fought better in the second fight with Marquez, but I still think he's baited into counters too easily, and tends to try to overwhelm his opponent rather than setting things up. Sure, he lands some good counters every once in a while. Most fighters do. But I wouldn't call him slick. He's not in there studying his opponent, trying to find ways to take them out. He just goes balls out until the guy is tired and beaten down. Pac's greatest strength is his athleticism, not his technique or generalship.

Pacquiaos foot movement is second to none. Pacquiaos head movement is second to none. That is what slick is.

not ONLY defense but it is MOSTLY Defense, when I think of Slick I think mostly of fighters who can consistently Slip Punches and consistently make people miss and counter

by the way THE DEFINITION OF SLICK:

                    -smooth and glossy; sleek.
                    -ingenious; cleverly devised
-slippery, esp. from being covered with or as if with ice, water, or oil.
                    -wily, tricky, foxy, sharp.

He's really quick on his feet, but head movement? Nah. Right now it seems like the upright style is in, so not a lot of guys are big on head movement, but I can think of a ton of fighters that have had better upper body movement than Pac.

And as for foot movement, I can even think of some things he does wrong, like throwing punches off balance. Sometimes it happens if you throw punches at weird angles, but he's the only fighter I've seen throw punches standing on his tip toes of both feet. He'd throw the shots better if he shifted his weight back and forth properly.
