Is anyone else su****ious of Pacquiao's complaint about being sluggish above 146? In his last fight he trained above 150, weighed in at 145 3/4 and he went into the fight against Clottey weighing 148-150+, yet threw 1200 punches in the fight, even look unstoppable while doing so, now the dude is struggling to make 147 weight and feel sluggish above. Either the game is taking a toll on him (highly likely) or this time he's experimenting without the Ariza's special blend.

btw to the ts: it wasn't the weight that was the difference, it was the conditioning program they were in, that means he's building new muscle.
on fight night against clottey, he was 142 pounds of muscle (that's what he was at the weigh in) and the 8 pounds he gained was just fluid weight.
But when he was at 147+ in the training camp, he wasn't just 142 pounds of muscle, but 147+ pounds of muscle.
and too much muscle will slow you down.Last edited by DARKSEID; 11-10-2010, 11:08 PM.
