    Comments Thread For: Team Allan Green File Protest Over Glen Johnson Loss

    Allan Green advisor Greg Leon has formally notified the Nevada State Athletic Commission of Team Green's intent to file an appeal of referee Robert Byrd’s decision to call a halt to his bout this past Saturday evening against Glen Johnson at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Johnson was awarded a knockout victory at the close of the eighth round. Green went to the canvas after being on the receiving end of what he and his team feel were rabbit punches. Although Green beat the count, Byrd stopped the bout and Johnson was declared the winner.

      For real, overturning this decision will not make Green any better, he needs to get over it and learn not to turn away from the front of the opponent.

            Granted I haven't seen all of Green's fights but every time he steps up his opposition all I hear is talk-talk-talk and he never backs it up. It excuse after excuse and now he's protesting, man what a baby.

                The punch didn't land on the back of the head, it landed on the side of Green's big ass head. Everyone deals with a losses different, but this sore of a loser is pitiful.

                Greg Leon is an idiot, I don't know how they came to the conclusion they did after rewatching the fight. They won't get the outcome overturned and all this **** will get them is bad publicity and backlash from fans. Give Glen the props he deserves.

                  Nate Campbell is a bit of a crybaby with the Bradley fight. Nate seems to have every excuse in the book when he loses. Don't get me wrong, i like Nate and his emails to boxing scene are funny but with a loss he does whine a bit.
