Chavez got so many gifts
you'd think it was his damn
birthday.
He did get some gifts....but that doesn't change his greatness.
I can see how it would make you guys despise him....but the man has a great overall body of work.

watch the Pernell Whitaker
fight. if that decision dont
piss you off then you dont
beleive in justice.
I think they were both battle tested great warriors that's why people love them. Anyways that Whitaker fight was one of biggest robbery. LaPorte and Randall too.
both are killers, but if i must chavez is little overrated. he got own in one of his biggest fight and it in his prime. and he got some fights i think he didnt won aswell so..duran always looks sharp, but in the second fight vs leonard he looks little fater and slower, maybe because he got older and slower?.
You know what Leonard did to Duran in the rematch?
He gave the match to Duran in SHORT NOTICE, they offered a amount of money that was SO GREAT, that he couldn't have refused...that's why Duran looked slow and fat...
The Future you have nothing to worry about in Juarez. Just dont fight him in his home time (Remember Rahim fight?).

The Laporte fight wasn't a "robbery". It was an even bout.
As for the Taylor fight...it was as great a fight as I've ever seen. Two awesome guys at their best.
Even as a Chavez fan.....I understood why Steele stopped it, but still thought he should have let it continue.
Whitaker....yeah, that was a disgrace.
BUT....tell me how that changes what Chavez did throughout his career ?
Ali got several bad decisions, late in his career....does that change his greatness ?
