Is there any truth to manny telling fighters what they can rehydrate to??

when did i say under 150??i dont know what the clause was(or if there was a clause)but as you see im not the only one who's heard about this

that's what roger said. he said they weren't allowed to weigh more than 145, which has already been shown false.


Now I do know that some boxing organizations have standard penalties if you weigh more than a certain amount, I can't remember which one(s) but I remember recently a fighter was penalized because he rehydrated 20 something pounds over night.

Personally I think all organizations should do this anyway, as it's obviously not fair.

Not only that. But, you would think that Hatton and Oscar who had every single excuse on why they lost that fight. That they would have mention a claws that wouldn't allow them to rehydrate above a certain weight.

And, again I laugh that Oscar would do anything like that. Like if anybody can tell Oscar wha to do.

I was there in attendance for Pac-Clottey and Clottey look like he was 2 divisions bigger than Pac.

I'm talking about Cotto/Clottey against different opponents. To me they don't look as "full". Like I said, it's just an observation and I most likely be wrong.

Oscar weighed 147 on fight night.
Hatton weighed 152 on fight night.
Cotto doesn't weigh himself on fight night...but he was quite obviously over 150 lbs.

Clottey had to be 160'ish.
