Marquez was struggling with a faded Joel Casamayor before knocking him out in the 11th.

Would you agree that his first win over Juan Diaz made us forget about his prior performances?

After struggling with Diaz and knocking him out in the 9th, he got his ass handed to him by Mayweather, then beat a scared Juan Diaz back in July.

Im starting to think Katsidis handles him rather easily to be honest.

Not a JMM hater, i really admire his skills and ring smarts, but a hungry katsidis will eat him alive on November 27th.

Joel was no joke when they fought. That was the first he had ever been stopped so you gotta give Marquez credit for that. As for the PBF fight, it's really hard to measure Marquez's performance with that fight given the huge weight class discrepancy.

He looked lively and game in the Diaz rematch so I think the guy has fuel left in his tank still.

I expect Marquez to win but yes he is getting old.

      The Mayweather loss was meaningless.

Katsidis should provide a good fight but has he improved enough since losing to Casamayor and Diaz?

You gotta give him credit for KO but common Marquez looked horrible against him before he land that dinamite.

Few fights before that,Casamayor lost like 11 rounds to 1 against Santa Cruz

Almost parallels Mosley's last two years. He had such an awesome performance against Margarito, that people forgot that he struggled against Mayorga and was down on one of the scorecards that night.

Then he gets his ass handed to him by Mayweather and looked really old against Mora.

I don't think Katsidis is a stylistic problem like Mora was for Mosley, but since Marquez doesn't seem to be in his prime anymore, anything could happen.

Yeah i definitly give him all the credit in the world for stopping Joel, but up until the stoppage he was just coming on, and probally would have lost a decision.

He looked good in the rematch with Diaz, but it wasnt the same Diaz from the first fight. Diaz tried counterpunching and thats not him, Marquez easily broke him down.

Diaz's come foward style, which is SIMILAR to katsidis', gave Marquez all he could handle in the first few rounds. A year later your telling me Katsidis wont do better?

Juan Diaz and Casamayor beat Katsidis, while Marquez has wins over both.

Yeah agreed, Casaymayor may have had more then, then he does now, but he was still a very faded Casamayor

I'm expecting a close fight, with Marquez coming out on top. Katsidis will make it tough for him.
