"He's a dirty fighter," says newly crowned undisputed middleweight champion Jermain Taylor of former champ Bernard Hopkins. "I can't respect that. If you're going to beat me, beat me right. Don't hit me below the belt or hit behind the head or head butt. It's unnecessary. If you can fight, you can fight." Jermain says he feels like he did enough to win, but he's openly critical of his own performance. "I made a lot of mistakes in the fight...I was chasing him around...I wasted a lot of energy...I was rushing my punches...I threw a lot of wild shots...I did get a little winded in those later rounds." The champion says he will correct those faults. "I learned so much," he stated. "Next fight it's not even going to be close....I give this man no respect at all, because I know in the rematch it will be different. I know I can beat him."
