    Taylor has something to say

"He's a dirty fighter," says newly crowned undisputed middleweight champion Jermain Taylor of former champ Bernard Hopkins. "I can't respect that. If you're going to beat me, beat me right. Don't hit me below the belt or hit behind the head or head butt. It's unnecessary. If you can fight, you can fight." Jermain says he feels like he did enough to win, but he's openly critical of his own performance. "I made a lot of mistakes in the fight...I was chasing him around...I wasted a lot of energy...I was rushing my punches...I threw a lot of wild shots...I did get a little winded in those later rounds." The champion says he will correct those faults. "I learned so much," he stated. "Next fight it's not even going to be close....I give this man no respect at all, because I know in the rematch it will be different. I know I can beat him."

Taylor is an assclown for saying that. He knows what Hopkins brings to the table and that is a lot of rough housing and borderline dirty stuff.

Why I say he is an assclown is because TAYLOR himself was doing plenty of holding, and was holding and hitting on a couple of occasions as well.

Both headbutts that occurred were accidental. The funniest thing that I saw is that Taylor was turning his back on Hopkins and he did it at least a few times in the fight. What's Hop supposed to do about that? Let him go for ******ity?

Yes I would also like to add: He seems to have the John Wayne talk down pat. That gets really annoying after a while, and makes you appreciate James Toney's rhetoric.

Why the **** would he change what he said after the fight. I think people are putting words in his mouth now.

Seriously it sounds like Taylor is a robot and Lou DiBella just programmed him to say that.

He was nothing but respectful immediately after the fight...that's pretty odd that he all of a sudden turned around and said this.

It has happened many times in boxing, the thing is they are making him get his confidence back from the ass kicking he took in the second part of the fight.

So know in his mind all this hit happened and will he will beat Hopkins next time. If they would leave him with the mindset he had after the fight then Hopkins would tear that ass up.

It's called confidence. Shouldn't he have confidence after winning such a close fight with the undisputed middleweight champion?? All he saying is that he will fix the mistakes he made that night in the ring. That shows determination to stay on top not too mention dedication to the sport. I don't think he should be called an ass clown for that.

He is being called an ass clown cause he changed his story lost his respect for Hopkins he seemed to have after the fight.Like they say boxing is as much mental as it is physical and these are just mind games. Hopkins will not be phased, trust me.

Wasn't Bernard respectful after the fight when he went up to him and told him "I guess country boys can fight" and then he turns around and down talks him in the media like he was no competition in the ring that night. Maybe that's his rebuttal.
