kotelnik clearly won that fight, and he won that fight kinda like how floyd wins his fights, ie, neutralises his opponent's offense and lands clean hard counter shots himself. for that reason i am not surprised that floyd understood the truth of what happened in the kotelnik/alexander fight. the kotelnik fight kinda reminded me of floyd/de la hoya a little. in that fight oscar threw a lot of showy combos that hit nothing but floyd's guard that sent the crowd wild. however, any sane person could see that oscar's punches were being blocked. that is exactly how i saw alexander's work against kotelnik - very showy and very ineffective. i think this was a much worse robbery than people realise, and hopefully once alexander is shown up further by khan, bradley etc, people who scored for alexander will re-evaluate their position. lederman's scorecard was absolutely ridiculous, and even people who scored a close decision for alexander must agree...

This just solidifies the fact that Kotelnik got robbed. You got someone with a big race chip on their shoulder giving props to a white Ukrainian dude over his black acquintance; I give Floyd props for the first time (not that he cares).
