A fighter should never give a promoter 27% of his money especially when he's a star and doesn't need a promoter like Arum.

65% of my purse money would've never been "unaccounted" for because I would've handled my business before I even step in the ring and I would've made sure I got the money I deserve. Blame the fighters for not handling their **** and knowing the business. Do you see promoters take advantage of the vets boxers who have been in business for a long time? People take advantage of boxers who don't know **** about the business.

Why didn't they make a big deal about this a few weeks ago? You're telling me the boxers, the trainers, the managers, etc. didn't know about GBP's deal with HBO for the fight purse?

The fighters got paid what they were supposed to but for accounting purposes GBP said they paid the fighters a whole lot more when the did not do so

Unbelievable. Always hated the fact that JMM signed with those pricks. Now I wonder how much he got out of the Mayweather fight after all. Cuz' they sure as hell weren't looking out for him in that match.

A: that doesn't make it right.

B: this story came out a few weeks ago, but it was in the speculative phase. Now it seems more facts are coming out.

Then go make a case against another promoter (besides Don King). You can't excuse cheating fighters out of money by saying that everyone is doing it.

Fighters need to be more involved with the contracts.
