My main problem is Pacquiao Lack of Flexibility on the purse split.

Mayweather saying 60/40, is basically saying Pacquiao is not getting 50%

But Pacquiao is making 50% a sticking point

Horus, Floyd and Manny are negotiating. During this process, we heard Floyd wanting 60/40 while Manny asking 50/50.

It's hilarious that you are freaking out over Manny's negotiating tactics of 50/50 but you are OK with Floyd's 60/40...... and from your above logic, then why can't you say that maybe Manny is telling Floyd , there is no way that you are getting 60/40 when he says 50/50?



My other point:
During the first negotiations, according to all the logic thrown out over here, Manny could have said that he had the upper hand. Why? Floyd just came out of retirement and all he had to show for after that was the Marquez fight. No title, no FOTY, no FOTD, no more P4P #1, no PPV (Marquez brought in less than Cotto), fought essentially a tune up fight only in Marquez while Manny had all that I mentioned and more momentum going for him with those annihilations of Cotto, Oscar and Hatton.....

Yet, Manny was OK with making it a 50/50 fight as he saw that Floyd brought his own intangibles to the plate and didn't want to make it a sticking point. ....... but Floyd made it a sticking point to ask for PEDs testing!!!


Now, one fight later, you would think that Floyd would return the favor and NOT make it a sticking point to ask for more than 50/50 ...... but the rumors are that he asked for 60/40 and stronger PEDs testing!!!


As you say, I am a boxing fan and I ask, why is Floyd making all these sticking points? See where I'm going with this?


Last point: We hit July 10 and we are running out of time. Arum and GBP and Manny seem to have all agreed. GBP is representing Floyd so one would think they are at least close to a deal. So I don't see anymore a reason to bring this topic up UNLESS we hear new news....... I may have missed it but there is nothing to indicate new news about these so called sticking points.

Actually, the latest rumor has it that the real sticking point is to have Roger in Floyd's corner or no fight ....
