    thats what im saying lol...

my boy mike tyson was in attendance, and this fight was hyped up big time...i was lucky enough to watch it at a party though for free lol...

i noticed evans was putting in boxing techniques into his wrestling game...he would slip a couple of rampages punches (where in boxing u could easily counter with a body shot, or upper cut-hook to the head), but he would use the slip to shot for a take down...i got respect for this sport (and some mma dudes come in all the time to my gym to work on their standup), BUT....

these guys are suppose to be ELITE!!??? i mean...they fought for 15 minutes lol, and the worst part is they hugged and held on to each other for a majority of the rounds lol..that to me sounds amateur, but im not an mma master like bruce lee so wtf do i know lol....

You mind telling me which undercard fight was good? All i saw was a bunch of unathletic "fighters" with no form whatsoever. I can go to bumfights.com and see that for free.

Of course it seems like that, when one of these guys go down quicker than a Thai hooker when their chin is tapped.

But to each his own. People pay to see KOs so from that aspect, I guess the undercard fights served their purpose.

UFC consistently do great numbers at the gate and on PPV. They'll be all right. What I don't get is why as "boxing" fans, y'all keep bringing all this up, comparing boxing to MMA.

I watch the shogun/machida fight recently and i could tell most of them cant take a punch, Maybe its because of the 4 oz gloves but the moment a punch graze or land on them then they're on the ground half-out, They are physically well built but most lack the condition associated with boxing. I respect what they do but i cant embrace the way they do their "Sport"

What i have noticed is the poor head movement, unlike boxing most mma guys fight with there chin in the air,and do not roll with punches.

Guess they had nothing better to do, given they aren't good enough to put thier team into contention.........

why don't you *** off and go give that other MMA loving **** pistol whip a *******...............

They dont move their head or roll with punches because they have to focus on not getting taken down, I dont really want to critise them but unless am watching a highlight KO i really cant watch their fights, Nothing skillful about it but just more skilled than street fighting.

                      I didnt order it.

MMA is not "Taking over boxing"

I think MMA tends to attract those who like fighting for the violence of it and boxing attracts people who are sportsfans or like the skill aspect of it and of course boxing has fans who just love people punching each other too.

I watch MMA on occasion and have been watching the ultimate fighter series sometimes theres some damn good fights but mostly it boils down to 2 guys winging shots and slamming each other around.

Boxing is good the PPVs are getting overpriced and there are alot of uneven boring matchups usually but this year has been pretty good overall so far (except for Kermit crowdsurfing and that finght being ruined)..

theres room for both boxing and mma. Just dont order mma if you dont like it.
