Just last year Floyd vs Marquez did 1 million PPV Buys in September. 2 months later Pac Man vs Cotto did 1.25 PPV Buys. In December the first thing Floyd said is he did those numbers all by himself and he didn't have a dance partner and Manny did (Floyd said Cotto was a huge draw). Floyd felt for that reason alone, he wasn't going to take a smaller cut of the money.

Now that Floyd numbers out did Pan Man numbers in thier next fight, he want a bigger cut of the money! But Floyd Failed to mention that Pan Man didnt have a dance partner and did 700,000 buys with no 24/7(i could be wrong but I dont remember Pac vs Clottey 24/7). Floyd had a dance partner in Mosley plus HBO 24/7 that help generate 1.4 million PPV buys. Not to mention, Marquez is a way bigger star than Clottey!

first of all.... Everyone is speaking off of hear say, no one from Floyd or Manny camp have come out and confirmed that Floyd wants more money now

Second of all.... Your argument is flawed because, though Clottey-Pac didn't have a 24/7 you can go back to the Cotto fight and Floyd still out sold that one as well

And lastely.... Floyd has always made it quite clear that he's all about the business and money and cares very little about legacy so he has the higher ppv numbers and history so of course he's gonna try to maximize his funds...
Soo if Manny is all about legacy like how some people claim then Floyd wanting more money wouldn't effect the negotiations at all and Manny would comply... But the fact is Manny cares about the money just as much as Floyd does

I can agree with you that Pac didnt have a dance member in Clottey. But if you look at it like this.

Floyd v No Dance Partner = 1,000,000

Pac v No Dance Partner = 700,000

Floyd v Dance Partner = 1,400,000

Pac v Dance Partner = 1,200,000


Now you could argue that Pac v Clottey didnt have a 24/7, but what good would a 24/7 would have done when Clottey has no personalty and has no compelling back ground story. They still had a countdown show which compensated for the 24/7 and the big selling point of the whole event was the fact that it was taking place at the cowboys stadium.

cowboy stadium could be considered as the dance partner even on espn they said that anyone will sell out cowboy stadium even if they were just playin wit marbles

if all manny cared about was money, than he wouldve ran into the ring with floyd back in march..no matter how much blood testing was involved..

and if floyd really wanted to fight manny, he wouldn't be setting up obstacle after obstacle for manny to overcome and agree to..

its clear as day that pac WANTS to fight floyd..otherwise he wouldn't have gone from no blood testing to 30 days to 24 days to 14 days to anyday BUT the day of the fight..its called compromising, and pac is the ONLY one doing any compromising and showing the world that he wants the fight more than floyd does..if floyd wanted the fight he would've gave in to pac..even just a little..and i'm pretty sure "pacROID" (according to floyd fans) would never agree to get tested that close to the fight if he was cheating..

but all the compromising that pac does will never show the floyd fans how much he wants the fight..people are just brainwashed i guess..

Floyd also fought the #2 and #3 p4p fighters.. and had a extra 24/7 and still didnt do that much more then pac.. Both JMM and Mosley had PPV before.. and were bigger stars..


Cotto and Clottey never had a PPV before. and Cotto was ranked #5-7 on the P4P lists


Lets also not forget Pac does sell out the stadiums while Floyd cant even sell out on his home town..
