Police have the right to stop and question people and request they provide documentation to show they are not illegas. The law is obviously being targeted at mexicans.

No they don't, that's completely illegal and civil rights attorney's have been feasting on stuff like that for decades. Cases have been thrown out because of "racial profiling" even when all the other evidence points to the suspect and it's obvious that they're guilty.

Comments like this basically show that you didn't read the law for yourself and basically listened to all the useful idiots screaming about racism and so on, then repeated them. I've seen you post many times in the past and you're not one of those people so this is pretty odd.

The people being questioned must already be detained or arrested for something else. When that happens, instead of calling Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the police can ask for proof of citizenship themselves which was also illegal for them to do.

All this law does is take federal responsibilities and grant them to local law enforcement, who will be going through a **** ton of training to learn how to deal with these situations.

The act of hiring illegals is even more criminal, paying them slave wages is also criminal. What happens if you leave food outside of your house? The hungry will come and the food will be gone by the morning, then everyday forward they will continue to show up. There is a cause and effect of the illegal immigration problem. We prefer to treat the underlying symptoms rather than examining the true cause of the problem. Illegals came here because jobs were made available to them by "American" companies.

Why are quoting the word "American" are you implying that the companies are not American? What you said is true, I don't think Americans should hire illegals. Period. I think there both in the wrong. I think we should round up all the illegals put them on a boat and ship them back to Mexico. Or some island with very little or no resources.
