Mosley today vs the Jose Luis Castillo that fought Floyd.

This question come obviously because of how excited i am about saturday's fight, Just trying to analyze matchups , I found myself comparing how J.L.C fought him , and his differences and similarities to Mosley.

I think there arent many (similarities)

But When I think bout it. Obviously not forgetting that Floyd is a monster and such an inteligent boxer.

I think the fact that Floyd has looked less aggressive in his last fights , because he has chosen to. Because he was superior to haton , Marquez And D.L.H. I thinki because of that sole fact , Mosley has less chances. But he is still very likely to pull it off. Not sure if Im making my thoughts clear.

But yeah , I think Mosley even at this point of his career , presents more weapons/danger to Floyd. He has more power , more speed , he is quicker on his feet and prob reflexes are better. Not sure how Mosley will handle Floyd limited attack , I think Floyd will land at will , but his work ratio might be cut down by Mosleys hunger to outwork him overall.

So Floyd is not going to fight Mosley the same way as he fought J.L.C , and that might benefit him. And then again I think of skills wise , and Mosley is years ahead of what Castillo use to be , no disrespect , but lets be real. So it makes this an even more intriguin fight.

    Cant ***in wait.

Good post. Mayweather was better at 135 than he is now, I think JLC then was worse than Mosley now, but I still cant imagine Shane winning more than 4 rounds. Definitely gave me something to think about though.

I know , I think Mosley knows he cant become the hunter , but I think he will end up doing just that. And I hate to put the triangle theory into effect here , but if Cotto was able to time mosley pretty good and counter him and just pick his spots. I cant Imagine what Floyd will do. Well just have o wait and see

Thats just crazy to compare them.

You can say MOSLEY as lightweight vs CASTILLO that fought FLOYD.

and MOSLEY would probably KO CASTILLO if you ask me!

First of all it wasnt a question , and second , Is not comparing who will win between them , but rather what Castillo was able to do to Floyd and if Mosley who is much better will be able to do the same , worst , or better. That was the question , comment , idea.

Wait what the hell? LOL Maybe, just MAYBE it would be kinda normal if you said Mosley is as fast as Floyd, but to say he's got better reflexes and he's quicker on his feet? WTF??? Either you're confusing pressure with footspeed, or you just have no clue what you're talking about. The hater don't call him Floyd Mayrunner for no reason. He may not be as quick on his feet as he was at 130, but to say Mosley's feet are quicker is flat out ******ed. Mosley's legs are by far the
most aged part of his body.

And reflexes? What the hell? Mayweather has compubox records for making fighters miss. His entire style at WW works around timing and reflexes. He is known for landing flush punches and slipping away before a fighter can even extend their arms. When has Mosley done anythig like that? That's like saying De La Hoya had better reflexes than Pernell Whittaker...Wtf...Dude...WTF??
