Is Mayweather-Mosley 10rds or 12rds???

It will be 12 rounds there is no doubt at all. All the megafights are. I know that Floyd said he didnt want to fight for Shanes belt (to pay the fees) and that it used to be that only title fights were 12 and others were 10 but I have seen quite a few that werent for belts and they were 12 rounds.


DLH-Pac was set for 12. Neither of them had a belt at 147.

Morales just had a comeback fight for 12 rounds against that guy in mexico. The other guy moved up from 135, neither had belts obviously.


You just dont see 10 rounders much anymore if its anywhere near a big fight. That old rule doesnt seem to apply anymore.

classic----funny ****---and the fight with kosta, he thought was 1 1/2 rounds, and he ended up chicken dancing for the referee---i bet shady nady had a good laugh over that one--of course, only after he found himself safe from zab---who tried to kill him after the fight---lol---

i still don't get why zab got so mad---after he got up, he basically motioned to jay nady to ring the bell---remember his ding ding---like apollo creed----

and to answer the thread, it's a 12 round fight---these guys aren't just starting off in their careers---mayweather and jmm was 12 rounds and it wasn't for a championship----

When are there ever big fights not scheduled for 12 rounds?

I can understand the confusion, but it has become the accepted standard for all big fights, regardless if belts are on the line or not (and sometimes they throw a piece of junk in just to appease those who still see 12 rounders as Championship standard). In this case, they just said **** it, it is what it is.
