Even if Margo got his license tomorrow he still hasn't fought. Nobody know how he is gonna look after a year of layoff and all the negative attention he is gonna get. He also has a lot of wear and tear on his body.

This is a classic Arum move to keep the fight in house so he can rake as much money as he can for himself. This fight doesn't do anything for Pac and Arum is gonna try to sell it like it is the next big thing.

There are other options available but are not Top Rank fighters. Unfortunately Pac doesn't have a say in who he fights and should take a more accertive role if he really feels that certain fights should be made.

Well my principles are shot anyways! I dont agree though, while Pacquiao/Margarito could be a replay of either Mosley/Margarito (with Pac playing Mosley) or Pac/Clottey (with Tony playing Clottey), a fight with Valero is dangerous for both fighters. For Pac because Valero has some skills man, hes a great counter puncher with good power and good speed, he could pose Pacquiao a bigger problem than anyone else lately.

If Margarito was allowed back and worked his way into contention again, so be it. Right now though he offers no quality as an opponent. When or if he comes back he needs to do the right thing.

I'm starting to question old Bob's frame of mind here. He seems awfully dedicated to Margarito and willing to coddle him back into the picture for doing nothing as of late.

Here is what I think is happening. He knows Manny's days are numbered as he is already talking about retirement, so he is doing whatever it takes to make sure the torch gets passed on to one of his other fighters. I don't think he is interested in Floyd or Shane as opponents, or anyone else for that matter if they are not under the top rank umbrella. I just hope team Manny puts their foot down and says to Arum enough is enough.

People keep saying he had plaster wraps, and its just bull****.

If they had actual plaster or plaster wraps he would've been gone for life. But they couldn't suspend him for life because they had nothing to back it up with.

Dan Rafael and Kevin Iole deserve all the blame for spreading that plaster **** for so long.
