I hate it when guys boast about not watching any video footage of their opponent. In Clottey's case, it makes him sound presumptuous and not serious about training for the biggest fight of his career.
IMO training for a fight should involve not only sharpening up on one's own part, but sharpening up on the knowledge of the opponent - all the details and intricacies of their style, and how to beat them.
That's where Roach is a genius. Even after all the fights Pacquaio has had, Roach still takes the time to study all his opponents beforehand. It shows genuine dedication to the sport.Comment
