par...yeah i know some ppl are gonna say something about his heart but its getting old but you gotta admit that if Victor Ortiz would have jabbed more and started to exchange in the mid rounds against Maidana then Ortiz would have won...What Ortiz has that none of the other JWWs have is accurate punching skills with power...Ortiz is able to find those gaps and attack Viciously sort of like what Manny Pacquiao has...the only thing wrong is that when Ortiz fights a solid chin opponent he leaves himself wide open when he throws that left hand...if he is able to fix that then he'd be able to beat anyone at 140 and I mean anyone!

It's not his defense, kid actually has a solid defense. The only time he really gets hit is in exchanges.

All he has to fix is that mental glitch he showed in the Maidana fight and a few kinks in his arsenal (a better jab, lack of jab use, sharper counter punching skills, and a better punch output).

Actually, I think its his Offense that hurts his D. I talked about it nonstop before his loss. His stance is like face forward. Its overly aggressive with his lead side way out front. Its the ultimate plus & minus. The plus is that he's already fast, a Southpaw, and has power so when you combine that with his forward body stance, he is going to get to the target mad quick and **** alot of guys up. Then the Southpaw stuff makes alot of the **** blind. For that very reason he is going to be mad dangerous against anyone.

The minus is that his forward body lean also keeps his head in danger at all times. It will be much harder for him to defend himself and someone can land on him really quick. Not only that but since he's like leaning forward, it will automatically make it a harder impact when it does land. Its almost like your running or walking into a punch every time. All of that came to a head in the Maidana fight. His O is so deadly that it made Maidana look like ****. He's never been ****ed up like Ortiz had him, yet that face 1st lean forward style was going to get caught sooner or later by Maidana and this cat has mad power. It was like a train wreck and after that he didnt want anymore as it only got worst & worst. I think he needs to bring his stance back some or at the least he has to maintain a high guard at all times like Winky or Clottey
