    Mlungisi Dlamini dies in car accident

    Mlungisi Dlamini, who was scheduled to fight Paulus Moses for the WBA lightweight title in April, died in a car accident late on Friday.

    Mlungisi, age 27, had a record of 21-0-2, 13 KO and was the IBO lightweight champion.

            He was the IBO lightweight champion, and a ranked contender at lightweight by the WBC, WBA and IBF.

            Last year, he defeated Francisco Lorenzo, who had the controversial fight with Humberto Soto.

                Always sad to see people pass away. It really hurts when it's young people, who has all their life ahead of them and so much going on! I hate trafic accidents, because it could somehow have been prevented! Rest in peace brother!
