you see there it goes again "he wins it but why is he so scared", who turned who down more? why is Floyd scared and Mosley who turned him down twice before isn't? why because he knows where he is at in his career? **** outta here

we want many fights and he's willing to give them to us but he's his own man with his own plan dogz, he has managers who manage his **** for him but he makes 100% of his own money, he's an independent fighter so it's hard to say what you will do from his perspective..

all I'm saying is Shane had his chance and now since a few years passed all is forgotten? what will Shane bring to Floyd? money? certainly not the MOST money, a title? so will Issac Hlatswayo if I'm not mistaken, so what then? a name? a name that when he beats him it'll be "he was too old" and "Floyd waited too long"? **** that Floyd been there and done that and he came to the realistic reality that you can't please everyone and even if you try they will always find more ways to defeat your character so the most he can do is at least fight on his terms, he's in position to do that so why not?

it's not an excuse on my part it's an evaluation of both sides and I just agree with Floyd.. I used to bash him back in 07 when I thought he would retire before fighting the whole pool of opponents but he came back to fight them all just on his time, I can't knock him for that because when those fights finally do happen and he wins you'll all be forced to shut the **** up anyway

cmon now people gave Shane **** for not wanting to fight Floyd. Also if I am not mistaken there have been times when Floyd had also said Mosley is not on his level so that in itself does not seem like an open invitation for the two to fight now does it

but lets fast foward to today where BOTH fighters seem to want the fight to happen. Let's toss away the reasons why the fight didn't happen years before because it really is irrelevant to what is going on now

no you mistook what I said. When I say he needs to exceed Manny vs Clottey what I mean is he needs to find a viable challenge that exceeds the challenge Manny took in Clottey and thats to fight Shane.

I care less about numbers unless we are talking who deserves what and I think those numbers between Shane and Money have already been determined from what I am hearing.

Foyd wanted mosley on a date he had in early november 2006. Mosley had just fought vargas at 154 in july and mosley had already fought vargas earlier that year as well. If you look at mosleys record he never fights more that twice in a year. To do what floyd wanted mosley would have to drop from 154 to 147 and fight floyd in a few months for his third fight that year. I dont blame mosley in any way for not taking that fight. If the roles were reversed floyd sure as hell wouldnt. Mosley actually suggested that floyd fight margacheato and he would fight the winner but floyd fought baldo on his date of the 4th nov. Mosley needed more time and thats exactly what he said, yet he constantly gets slated for this, as somebody put it. Way back when floyd was coming up, mosley was chasing a big payday Vs de la hoya, who he got, but now both floyd and mosley are ready to make millions themselves, so thats why the fight is right now, its now or never and now is better than never, right
