If Manny aint hiding noting, then ¿why is he backing out?

No one lets 20 or 30 mil just fly away because of random blood testing, unless that person is hiding something...From now on any fighter Pacquiao chooses to fight should demand this type of test and if Manny keeps refusing to fight, then something is not right...Right now because of Manny's attitude of refusing this type of testing, all those victories that Pacquiao has against DeLaHoya, Hatton & Cotto are looking kind of shady... As a matter of fact this type of testing should become mandatory in boxing...If that happends maybe Pacquiao will retire..

Wahhhhhhhhhh! I won't fight any boxers belonging to GBP again if I can't take my "stuff".

They should impose mandatory random urine & blood samples for all fighter in order to flush the cheaters out of boxing. Heck the first step is to get rid of Fat Ass Arum. The freaking turd is the one ruining boxing.

        PacMan is not a Criminal

Manny Pacquiao is always clean when the Nevada Commission checks on him in every fight. If the Mayweather camp should doubt the Nevada Commision way of checking drugs on boxers then they should put that issue to the Nevada Commission and not on Pacquiao. But the reality is the Nevada commission had caught many fighters already and thus shows effectiveness in dealing with it. If ever there would be a most effective way of hiding the use of illegal drugs it would not be found in the Philippines or a Filipino boxer not from a Third World country but it would always be first used and found in a Developed Country and more on a US boxer.

If there is indeed a drug that can escape the Nevada's commission on drug testing, then that would be the greatest discovery. But reality is, it is only the greatest imagination from a twisted brain of a coward.

From a sensible person, the accusations to Pacquiao is pure harassment. And it is about time that Pacquiao should file a case against the Mayweathers especially on Roger.

I consider the most important in drug testing is right after the fight, and Pacquiao agreed on it. Why the heck do you want a fighter to be harassed by being subjected to blood testing while training like as if he had a criminal record on it. Assuming that Manny had used illegal drugs in fighting Mayweather, Manny will be the end loser and will still be caught but Mayweather will never get seriously hurt since he is the best defensive boxer in the whole planet. Mayweather may lose because of the illegal use of drugs by Manny but will never get seriously hurt. And at the end of the fight, Manny will be caught by a drug test that Mayweather is confident about. So, why should we push for a blood test during training when it does not do any serious damage to Mayweather.

This is just pure harassment. Go Manny and file a case.

Leave Manny Alone! He hasn't done anything wrong!

Egghead, comparing Manny to Lance is comparing Apples and Oranges - unless Lance's bicycle and left nut are Fighting Back!!! Manny is regulated by the Athletic Commission of the State in which the fight is taking place - in this case - the Nevada State Athletic Commission. He has complied with everything he says. I admire Manny for sticking to his guns. The Mayweathers are a bunch of nuts. They should not be deciding protocol, policies, and rules. Floyd wants an easy exit and wants to create a cloud of "DOUBT" in case he loses. Stick to fighting. That is what the Fighter is supposed to do. Unlike the Tour de France, a Fighter has an opponet that throws punches and wants to win. If the NSAC needs refinement or added policies, its on them, not Manny. Enough already! JV in the Place to Be.

Do you know how much Manny has in the bank? Do you know how much he will get for fighting anyone, not just Floyd?

I don't think its realistic to use "throw away". He's got a lot of money and in 2 fights he'll earn the same money for this one, so it's not as significant as all that. On page one a poster said "they should introduce random testing for ALL fighters." I personally couldn't agree more, the key word is ALL. Until any commission or ruling body changes the rules for all boxers Manny has every right not to comply. On his web site Manny said at first he was going to let it slide because he thought it was just pre-fight needle, but now he's got people coming up to him asking if he's doing PED. He says he's going to go to court with it. The Nevada commission have tested him ten times, all of which are clean. I know it's easy to say "do the test if you've got nothing to hide!" but in my opinion in doing the tests he is highlighting the speculation of "do he use roids or not?"
If you work in a factory, and the management keep coming to you to dope test you and no one else, how would you feel? What if they kept on saying "If you've got nothing to hide just take the test!" ? I'm pretty sure everyone would feel the same.
One interesting point is Khan has been quiet, i know to a lot of US fans he's a nobody but he trains with Manny and I'm surprised he hasn't been asked or approached, especially by the British reporters.

If Manny, or any boxer for that matter uses drugs they should be banned from the sport, but until all boxers are tested the same way, Manny has every right to say no, he shouldn't even have to say why.

Everyone knows the story of Lance Armstrong: Cancer survivor, seven-time winner of the Tour de France cycling race and champion fundraiser for those afflicted with the disease that nearly cost him his own life.

What you may not know about Lance Armstrong is that he has been subject to more drug tests - random, routine and otherwise - than perhaps any other athlete on the planet. Armstrong has even called himself, “the most tested athlete in the world.”

Professional cycling was once known as the “dirtiest” of all professional sports. For years, drug use was rampant and scandalous. Cyclists sought every conceivable pharmacological edge against their own teammates and competitors in a sport that is ultimately one of endurance.

Cyclists were once little more than a pharmacy on wheels. They ingested and injected various concoctions of designer drugs that aided them in their quest for championships. Misconduct of all sorts was the norm in professional cycling. Raids by police, customs officers and drug testing officials would uncover duffel bags packed with vials, syringes and pills. Cyclists would drop dead from overdoses. [Click Here To Read More]

Another Moron writer who thinks that they know the "Real Issues." Manny doesn't want to be a "Puppet" to the Mayweathers to prove his innocence... It is they who need to prove it in court.

its so sad that mayweather and his camp have took the biggest fight of this generation and turned it into a discussion about steroids. exactly what boxing doesnt need.

This article makes more sense than anything I have read on this subject. One of the things you can be sure of is that the French were testing Armstrong often during those seven years that he won the Tour De France and it didn't keep him from winning -- since he was clean.

All of you who say Pac should refuse the test or shouldn't have to prove anything to Mayweather have a good point. He can walk away, just like I or anyone else on this site can walk away from an employer who demands a drug test before we go to work for them. However, just like we have to agree to the test if we want a job, he has no choice but to accept Mayweather's terms if he wants to walk away with $40 million for one night of work. And, considering that both Arum and Golden Boy Promotions get a share of every one of his purses, hei is a lot better off splitting $40 million than the $3 million he would get fighting Malignaggi or Yuri Foreman.

You are delusional if you think Pacquaio will earn $40 million in two fights fighting guys like Yuri Foreman, Pauli Malignaggi or even Juan Manuel Marquez and Shane Mosley. He would have to fight 10 fights with these guys to earn that $40 million. Arum said that himself.
