IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE CHAMP .YOU HAVE TO GO OUT AND GET IT! WHERE DOES HE GO FROM HERE? AND DO THINK HE'LL BE THE SAME FIGHTER AFTER THIS CONFIDENCE SHATTERING LOSS? LET ME KNOW GUYS MUCH APPRECIATED

i didint lose all respect for him because hes still young and unlike fernando vargas i didint see him talking all big and then getting humiliated, he got humiliated in a humble manner, its not over for him. I wouldnt say he has no heart just yet, just wasnt ready.

Its a learning experince for a young guy firstly.I thought Kermits best chance was going to be early as Margarito is a notoriously slow starter. Kermit didnt take advantage there and you see the result. Secondly how did he show no heart? Like my friend Shao said he got cut pretty good and did take some nasty shots from a top 5 welterweight. He could have taken the easy rout and kept on fighting 2nd tier guys but he stepped up to the best and got schooled. He will learn from this and be a better fighter in the long run. Big ups to Kermit for a game effort

You're right, he got schooled. He also looked back to his corner like a scared pup to get them to stop the fight. Things weren't going the way poor little wittle Kermit wanted. He got a cut...wahhhh!....he got knocked down...wahhhh!....he quit and he has little heart.

Here he was on the biggest stage of his career fighting a guy who can get hurt and Cintron decided he had enough after getting slapped around pretty good for a couple of rounds. There, in front of thousands of people, he wussed out. Would he have won if he had continued? Very unlikely. Would he have retained his dignity if he went out with some balls? Yes.

I don't want to hear "why risk injury?" or "its not worth it" arguments from his camp either. If you don't want to risk injury, get into another business, not one where the object is to punch another man in the face. Don't freaking quit and then bawl like a little baby after its done. Poor wittle Kermit.....b**tch.

He's gutless, he's a disgrace, and he wasted my money.

I think he is just young and emotional...I think back to him crying hard during emotional victories...so to be beaten like that, he broke down...

some guys just handle things differently guys...doesn't mean he has NO heart...everytime he got up from a knockdown, he tried to land power punches and combinations...but Margarito was just too good for him...

this is a learning experience and good for him now to realize that he has to do more if his power isn't working

He didn't quit, he just panicked and didn't no what to do anymore. Afetr you go down 5 times, who wouldn't be discouraged, specially if your use dto knocking out your opponents left and right. This loss can only be good for him.
